Suellen McAndrews

For her PhD studies, Suellen traveled the world studying how people keep moving as they age. She studied yoga in India, tai chi in China, exercises and dances in Japan, Europe, Argentina, and Africa. She incorporates these movements and music into her classes. Her passion for creating effective exercises led her to complete a PhD in Exercise Physiology.


She is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, the highest scientific certification for exercise. She individualizes classes for each person’s needs. Each class incorporates the scientifically proven requirements for a total exercise program: aerobic endurance, strength, flexibility, balance and stress ­reduction. Twice a week is all it takes! Suellen’s goal is to keep us strong, flexible, and energetic as we age.
