Leah Wilson-Felis began studying yoga and Eastern philosophies at a young age with a private mentor, Kimberly Klein, who doubled as her ballet instructor. By age 17 she was certified and teaching yoga classes at a local yoga studio.
Following high school in 2007, Leah began her studies in massage therapy at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy. She is an avid traveler, always searching for an opportunity to expand her knowledge of healing modalities, open to new culture and self-awareness. She has studied, practiced with, and is mostly inspired by Kim Klein, Sunny Klaber-VanDerStar, Nikki Oleson, Jen Hillman, Cole Chance, and Clara Roberts-Oss.
Leah runs a private massage practice, White Lotus Therapies LLC, in Woodland Park, CO and facilitates yoga classes around the Pikes Peak region. Her students and clients appreciate her ability to tailor classes and sessions to the aptitude of the participants, yet urges to explore our true capability to push past our self-limiting boundaries in a safe, loving way.
Leah teaches yoga in many different styles including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Mudra, Pranayama, and guided meditation.
