THAI YOGA THERAPY

Stimulate the healing energies within you and bring vitality to your spirit through the restorative, assisted poses of Thai Yoga Therapy.

Thai Yoga Therapy, an ancient and sacred system of healing, is one of the four branches of traditional Thai medicine. The therapy involves deep stretching, assisted yoga poses, and light pressure to yield relaxation and improve circulation.

Thai Yoga Therapy both stimulates and balances the healing energy that flows throughout the body; the poses open blocked areas and bring harmony to the whole self. These integrations of mind, body and spirit bring greater health and happiness while releasing stress and tension.

The special Thai Yoga Therapy practiced at SunWater Spa holds its origins in yoga, Ayurvedic medicine and Buddhist spiritual practices. The therapy uses rhythmic movements, acupressure, gentle stretching, assisted yoga poses, energy work and meditation, all while positioned on dense, cushioned mats.

Private and couples Thai Yoga Therapy is available through SunWater Spa, led by lead practitioner Kat Tudor and other therapists trained in the Ritam Healing Arts style.
