Body Flows Colorado Spring Yoga Retreat with Red Rocks Hiking and Hot Springs

Join Sally Mitchell from Body Flows Retreats for a rejuvenating, yet energizing, retreat in the mountains at the historic SunMountain Center in Colorado. Located in the heart of stunning nature, surrounded by red rock formations, and with six acres of terraced gardens and biodynamic farms, the intimate setting of SunMountain provides the perfect space for reflection and connection with nature, yourself, and others. Soak in hot mineral springs at neighboring SunWater Spa after yoga or hiking. Nourish your body, connect with yourself and nature, relax, and recharge.

 

Morning yoga classes will be mostly vinyasa flow yoga for all levels, linking movement with the breath for an energizing, yet relaxing, flow. With creative and balanced sequences, strengthening and lengthening, detoxing, and pranayama, you will experience a strong, safe, and supportive practice. Modifications and options will be provided for different abilities. You will have the opportunity to play with some backbends, arm balances, and inversions if you choose, and cool down with some deep stretches and yin postures to restore the body and mind. Evening classes will be yin or restorative. There will be guided meditations during a few of the yoga classes for calming the mind and journeying inwards.
