COVID PRACTICES

  • To provide the utmost care for our guests receiving bodywork and skincare, all of our practitioners are fully vaccinated
  • A face mask is required for all staff and guests while moving around the spa and while receiving services
  • Public areas are sanitized regularly and hot tubs and massage rooms are cleaned after each use

MINOR POLICY 14+

To help create a tranquil environment of wellness, minimum age for minors is 14 spa-wide. Minors 14 and older are welcome and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. That means 1 minor to 1 parent or guardian, no exceptions. The minimum age for a sauna is 18. Minors under 18 are not allowed in the sauna even with a parent or guardian.

Reservations

Tubs and saunas are now reserved online, or by leaving a voice message at (719) 695-7007, or email.

Tubs are reserved for 90 minutes. The two-hour reservation times include 90 minutes for soaking plus 30 minutes for clean-up, departure, and disinfecting by staff.

 

Original Booking Advisory

We are unable to take walk-ins. Reductions in the number of people in your reservation are made by phone or voicemail at least 24 hours before your appointment. You may add a person by phone, voicemail, or in-person up to the time of your reservation.

Parking

We have 14 designated parking spots for our guests on the south and west side of the building.

 

Showering

Please shower off before entering our tubs and pools.

 

Etiquette

Our spa is a sanctuary of tranquility. As such we consider it a whisper zone. Please help us to preserve the healing atmosphere and honor our other guests.

 

Alcohol

Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises. Heat and high altitude will exacerbate the effect of alcohol (or any form of psychoactive substance, even coffee). Impaired judgment and loss of consciousness can result. Because of this, we strongly discourage the consumption of alcohol before or during activities at SunWater Spa.

 

What to Bring

Please help us maintain our mission of sustainability by bringing a bathing suit, a towel, a reusable water bottle, sandals, a robe, and any snacks you would like to enjoy during your stay. We also have a limited number of these items available for purchase. We invite you to help us keep our environment green. (Robes are only provided for guests who are booked for two or more services to use while on-site.)

 

We do have towels for sale for your convenience at the spa. Please see our Guest Services staff for purchase.

 

Inclement Weather

SunWater Spa places the utmost priority on guest safety and well-being. Please be advised that during thunderstorms or snowstorms, you will be asked to move to the indoor pools until it is safe to be outside. If you are asked to vacate a tub due to weather concerns, including lightning or other inclement weather, you may be issued a voucher to be used at a future date. 1-60 minutes qualifies you to receive a voucher for a future soak. After 60 minutes, no voucher or refund will be issued.

 

Spa Service Appointments

Please let us know prior to arrival if you cannot walk up 50 steps to your service, and arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to allow for check-in. Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals.

Cancellation Policy

We value your time as well as that of our staff

  • All reservations must be paid with a credit card at the time of booking.
  • We do not issue refunds for the following:
    • Appointments cancelled or rescheduled less than 24-hours prior to your reservation.
    • Multiple bookings and packages cancelled or rescheduled less than 48-hours prior to your reservation.
    • Large group reservations cancelled or rescheduled less than five days before reservation.
    • Failure to call within the above timeframe or failure to show up.
  • Please call and leave us a voicemail at (719) 695-7007, within the above time frames if you need to cancel, reschedule, or adjust your reservation.
  • If you are sick or not feeling well, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to reschedule your reservation.
